Fate
Naturally, “Fate” is just the codename for a yet untitled fiction-project I’m doing. So far, I haven’t written anything specific, but instead focusing on developing the world, the characters, shaping the overall storyline and sorting out the countless paradoxes that happened during that.
But, to give a few sneak-peeks of what exactly I’m doing, it’s a rather funky bit of mix of the genres steampunk, science fiction and fantasy. Might sound a bit overwhelming, but it’s actually just because I’m not quite sure what exactly to call the genre. Also, I’m using general symbolism to underline different aspects. I won’t give out any bits of the storyline, as I’m likely to be changing it again, again and again. However, the changes are getting smaller and smaller, which is a good thing. Eventually, my plan is to writing it into an actual book, but that’s likely far into the future.
So far, I plan on doing it in English, as I find that the superior language as opposed to Danish. It has countless more words, and lets me reach out for a larger part of the population as well.
Also, to make matters “worse”, it’s rare that I find time to work on it. But, I think the reason for that is that in order to further develop the story, the world, or anything else, I have to delve very deep into everything yet again. The mere fact that I have spend time to go into it all, should give an idea of itself of how much is actually done so far. To say the least, I’m always looking forward to holidays where I can give myself the freedom to focus everything on it.
Don’t be surprised when it’s mentioned now and then during my posts, it’s just a good way to remind myself that I havn’t given up on it.
